Favourite tournament and why: Canadian Championships – It provides the most camaraderie across the country and it is Canada’s most elite tournament.

How did you start playing bowls: My Grand-dad took me out one day and it immediately appealed to my highly competitive nature.

When did you start playing bowls: 1996

Who is your greatest influence in bowls: My Grand-dad Derrick Sweet, David Bryant, Ryan Bester

Best player you have competed against and why: Ryan Bester because he is easily Canada’s most prolific bowler and the only Canadian to bowl professionally across the globe. Note: In 2004 Alex Scott defeated Ryan Bester in straight sets at the U-25s. 😉

Aspirations beyond bowls: To succeed in everything that I am passionate about.

Who is the greatest influence in your life: Me Ma and Pa; JRR Tolkien (wink)
